Why Kenté?

With the name Kenté, we wanted to celebrate Africa and its many riches. Kente (in English) or Kita distinguishes the Akan nobility and allows it to be identified.

A sign of power, it is also the official dress of the nobility for major ceremonies. However, Kente is far from being a simple fabric. It is a language, a true code of conduct. This writing is readable through colors, patterns and animals (drawn or sculpted on accessories such as ceremonial canes, Akan stools, etc.).
